Maintenance and Automation Development Engineer

What you’ll achieve

As a Maintenance and Automation Engineer you will be responsible for end to end monitoring and support of our production lines and sortation system, as well as tools and equipment used during manufacturing process. You will work with our Process Engineering Team and external suppliers on new solutions / technologies introduction and infrastructure improvements as an advisor during new processes design.

You will:

  • Perform FMEA analysis and report any deviation in area of current infrastructure as well as diagnose and improve efficiency of industrial networks and production lines control system;

  • Supervise and control external suppliers in area of reactive repairs and preventive maintenance plan execution (that includes machinery & equipment health and tools & devices calibration process);

  • Manage technical documentation of machines and installations within factory and adherence to Integrated Management System (ISO) procedures within Maintenance & Controls department scope;

  • Monitor latest automation trends & innovations and prepare feasibility study for implementation within current infrastructure;

Essential Requirements

  • Knowledge and experience in work with Controls systems based on: Siemens S7-200, S7-300/400, S7-1500, Omron, Mitsubishi PLC controllers, Sinamics, Altivar, Mistsubishi, Fuji Alpha motor systems and practical experience in troubleshooting of Profibus, Profinet, AS-Interface industrial networks,

  • Knowledge and Experience in work with Siemens Simatic Step7 (STL, SCL, FBD, LAD), Siemens TIA portal, Siemens Wincc Flexible (Code maintenance and new developments),

  • Ability to read and create technical documentation in area of controls, electrical and mechanical systems (including legal requirements for documentation and machines safety aspects),

  • Experience with setup and troubleshooting of OPC systems (any of: Omron Network Configurator, Omron CX designer, Mitsubishi Melsec FX/Melsoft),

  • Knowledge of Industrial networks based on Device Net, Interbus, Io Link and vision control systems based on Keyence,

  • Knowledge of setup and programming of robotic arms: ABB (IRB series) and Universal Robots,

  • Familiar with Technical Supervision Office requirements (Urząd Dozoru Technicznego, - uprawnienia konserwatora UTB).

Desirable Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in area of Controls Engineering (alternatively Electrical engineering or Mechanics / Mechatronics) and proven experience in leading efforts related to commissioning / maintenance of industrial automation systems​​

  • Good knowledge of English and Polish language (communication in both is required for daily duties).
