This is an exciting opportunity to expand your product, business management expertise and to take a leadership position in this key function. This is a highly dynamic role where you will have the opportunity to work with talented people across the various departments at Dell EMC and be highly influential in delivering the optimal business result for the company. Your key responsibilities in this role will be executing the Enterprise Infrastructure (EI) business result, driving effective sales engagement while managing product line. You will ensure an effective funnel building on all key products.
Solution thinking will be key in identifying opportunities to convert general Enterprise Pipeline into complete solutions that feature key products. You will engage with sales teams and customers across the region. In addition to the customer-facing remit, you will be responsible for evangelizing and enabling the Dell EMC sales teams. Visits to each hub within your assigned region will be required. Other key tasks involve monitoring & analyzing current product & new product trends, marketing strategies and pricing strategies.
Act as a pillar within Presales & Sales teams across all segments.
Become a trusted advisor to Presales & Sales as well as the extended EI team, delivering support and expertise within desired SLAs.
Effectively report & present individual weekly performance metrics to peers & SMT Country level.
Deliver revenue & margin quotas across each of the three Lines of Business within Enterprise Infrastructure:
Partner Solutions: The integration of technology products from our Partner Resell portfolio to provide end-to-end solutions to our customers.
Data center Infrastructure: Power & Cooling from our Partners APC & Vertiv. To extend the Dell EMC Data Center Solution beyond what is perceived as our core products to provide the full framework to our customers’ Data Centers.
Upgrades: Parts & upgrades for our customer's install base of servers, storage & networking to obtain improved productivity on their investments.
Enable Sales, Solutions & Engineering teams to be effective at selling the EI Portfolio via all RTMs: Direct, Channel Partners, Distribution & online.
Develop and maintain effective sales tools and reporting, working alongside the Regional & Global EI, Operations and Finance colleagues as appropriate.
Devise and collaborate on EI Training Plans alongside EI Regional/Country Team to ensure effective training is delivered to sales makers.
Development and execution of EI Partner’s Business strategy & plan.
Take ownership of the effective and profitable growth of the business.
Lead and/or participate in EI programs, events & activity as well as attending customer/partner meetings & sales kick off sessions is an integral part of the role.
Develop deep understanding of customers’ Business and Solutions requirements.
Identify, build relationships with and influence Customer ‘Decision Making Units’ starting at Executive level, but to include contacts within Strategy, Operations, Finance and Engineering departments to ensure proposed EI offering is converted into a successful sale.
Fluent in both Dutch and English.
Excellent communication and presentation skills at all levels
Deeply analytical with the ability to diagnose market or sales execution issues and develop creative solutions that are measurable and repeatable.
Deep Dell technical expertise regarding Dell's server, software defined storage and networking offers.
Ability to flourish in working within ambiguity and agility to respond to a changing environment.
Natural penchant to build meaningful relationships with key stakeholders.
Overall passion for technology.
Customer-first ethos & mind-set and demonstrate excellent customer service standards and advocacy.
Able to architect, communicate and sell complex Enterprise Solutions to a prospective customer.
Self-starter with an innate want to own & drive a business to success with integrity.
At least 5 years’ experience in technical or service sales role.
Eager to learn: this role typically involves 4 hours per week of training & learning.
