Key Responsibilities

Responsible for management of assigned account(s) by developing partnerships and through the coordination of sales, sales operations and technical support teams at a global level. Responsible for account penetration development, customer satisfaction and long term sales results.

  • Be a Single Point Of Accountability for one or more Global Segment customers;

  • Attain targeted sales goals and performance through the effective management of resources, including customer satisfaction;

  • Provide leadership to the virtual global account team via the account profile / executive briefing document for the global team and through regular structured communication via conference calls or formal emails, clearly outlining key projects, opportunities, issues, products transitions, pricing etc.;

  • Drive, maintain and document an account strategy

  • Profile of account using the GS agreed formats, including key business and financial drivers, geographic profile, business strategy and key executives;

  • Profile of existing IT operations including strategy initiatives (storage, outsource, refresh), supplier profile (i.e. relative share of wallet between vendors) and map of key IT contacts;

  • Thorough analysis of Dell's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats, provide a summary of the business opportunities offered, critical success factors and associated risk/resource considerations.

QUALIFICATION:

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master Degree in Economic studies or equivalent;

  • At least 6 - 10 years sales experience with good sales track record, preferably in the IT sector;

  • Customer focused & results orientated. Primary target accounts are acquisition accounts.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English;

  • Strong interpersonal, influencing and communication skills;

  • Ability to interact and negotiate with Key decision makers within an organization on CXO level.

Desirable Requirements

  • Hunter mentality, able to acquire new accounts;

  • Self-starter capable of working on your own initiative;

  • Ability to pull together various resources to sell and deliver customer solutions;

  • Good organizational and time management skills are highly desirable;

  • Result driven team player.
