What you’ll achieve

Process engineering in the Dell Apex Facility consists of a wide range of responsibilities. You will have the chance to get involved in a project for the improvement of production in a manufacturing environment. You will have project experience dealing with material handling, new product launches, automation/sensors, COBOTs, Autonomous Mobile Robots, layout design and implementation, ergonomic design, and application development.

You will:

Process engineer is responsible for documenting product configuration processes, material handling, material replenishment, ESD safety, ergonomics, customer packaging, productivity and lean manufacturing improvement projects (PMP desired)

Essential Requirements

Candidates should currently hold/or be enrolled as an undergraduate Mechanical or Industrial Engineering focus of study.

Great written and verbal communication skills

Knowledge of Microsoft Office is a must have skill

Additional duties/skillsets to include: analysis of data using excel, status reporting, design, automation controls (Sensors, PLC and gates), Project Management, vendor contracting management and 3-D printing projects .

Desirable Requirements

Desired skills include AutoCAD, SIMIO/Process Model (Simulation skills) and Solidworks.
