When you’re driving human progress through technology, having cutting-edge production processes and procedures is crucial. That’s the remit of our Production Control team, which oversees the planning, forecasting, scheduling and monitoring of materials and orders through the production process. We approve quantities, schedules and parts lists provided to the material control organization and perform scheduling and material requirements using appropriate tools. As well as reviewing stock against project requirements, we estimate and record the production rates.
Key Responsibilities for Production Planner:
Work with buyers, material planners & order fulfillment to determine production priorities and implement build schedule.
Utilize SAP to create & schedule production orders
Utilize KBS and other tools to fill kanbans and support backlog
Create, run and interpret reports as needed
Manage material to meet/support inventory goals
Works under limited supervision
Sense of urgency
Problem solving skills
MS Office including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Education: Minimum: High School Diploma
Experience: 1+ years of related experience
Basic understanding of the IT tools and systems used to manage backlog, bookings, kanbans & shipments, and all necessary reporting requirements.
Robust understanding of manufacturing processes and procedures needed to ensure orders ship on time.
Ability to present and run meetings as required
