Project APEX is defining the future of Dell Technologies and the APEX Console is the central pane of glass for delivering all as-a-Service offers to our customers. It’s a singular orchestration platform across the company for our customers to engage with Dell Technologies.
The Cloud Analytics teams mission is to optimize customer experiences and maximize the potential of our offerings by building recommendation engines and leading cross-domain analytics projects for the APEX Console and associated offerings. We are looking for a senior data scientist to help lead our AI/ML and predictive analytics capabilities.

Provide thought leadership to deliver transformative AI/ML based solutions to the APEX Console.
Provides strategic direction to the planning, design and architecture of high quality, complex recommender systems.
Leads the design and testing of new algorithms and analytical techniques.
Drives analytics projects, delivering results and effective presentations in a timely manner.
Generates requirements, develops proofs of concept, and partners with frontend engineers to scale models in a production environment.
Typically requires 12+ years of related experience in a professional role with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8+ years with a Master’s degree; or 5+ years with a PhD; or equivalent experience
Demonstrated ability to deliver and lead enterprise grade machine learning solutions for large scale environments.
Demonstrated experience with recommendation systems.
Demonstrated experience with multiple ML algorithms: e.g., Clustering, Regularization, Bayesian inference, Decision Tree, Deep Learning, etc.
Strong background in data pipeline, distributed data processing (such as spark), cloud computing, working with small and big data sets.
Strong software development experience in languages such as Python, Java, Scala, C++.
Demonstrated experience with Agile development methodologies.
Experience with SQL, NoSQL database and coding.
Experience with big data analytics technology such as Hadoop, Spark and related modules preferable.
High level understanding of systems modeling and product lifecycle.
