Thought Leadership Director, Portfolio Marketing
Join us as our Director of Thought Leadership on the Dell Technologies Portfolio Messaging and Thought Leadership team in the US (open to Hopkinton, MA, Austin, Texas or remote, US)to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact.
What you’ll achieve
The Director of Thought Leadership will partner with other leaders across Dell Technologies and with internal and external technology and innovation experts, to form, articulate, and demonstrate our thought leadership vision. This includes leading, managing and inspiring a team to continuously advance the perception of Dell Technologies as a thought leader and innovator for the future.
Architect and drive a thought leadership strategy that is aligned to our business priorities and positions Dell Technologies as an industry thought leader
Provide leadership, vision, operational direction, performance expectations, developmental coaching and stretch opportunities for a team of mid and senior-level professionals
Build and maintain strategic cross-functional partnerships ensuring thought leadership work becomes embedded into sales, marketing, campaigns, events, and other internal enablement efforts
Lead and drive the cross-functional Thought Leadership Council for continuous sharing, collaboration, and alignment of thought leadership work
Act as the thought leadership subject matter expert for Dell Technologies

15+ years in thought leadership, messaging, learning and development, communication, or equivalent experience in a related field
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex topics in simple, compelling, innovative and differentiated terms to internal and external audiences of all levels
Ability to work collaboratively, negotiate and influence diverse cross-functional contributors at all levels inside and outside of Dell Technologies
Ability to evaluate key business challenges and complete complex, ambiguous initiatives having cross functional impact
Be recognized as an internal and/or external thought leader with extensive technical and business expertise
Experience of Dell Technologies product, solutions, and services portfolios, and/or similar portfolios and companies
PhD, Masters or advanced degree.
