The Client Product Group (CPG) at Dell is at the heart of Dell’s transformation and strategic goal with 18 straight quarters of growth and share growth. The Client Product Group teams have end-to-end responsibility for business results and solution delivery. In an effort to build on our world class solutions and user experiences for our end users, the Consumer Product Group has created a new Brand Experience team, with a charter to own the end-to-end consumer brand experience and create distinctive solutions comprised of unique hardware, software, ecosystem, and user community components.

This position will help define the key experiences required in next generation products, map these experiences to technologies maturated by technologists, drive those core technologies in consumer products, and guide the Consumer Brand Experience Team’s hardware, software, ecosystem, and community advanced planners to create integrated Solution experiences. This position will also work across various stakeholders to align advanced planning priorities and resources.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Define the advanced technology roadmap for consumer products

  • Coordinate and influence across stakeholders, including LOB executives in consumer, commercial, and displays/peripherals product marketing, marketing, sales, technologists, supply chain, services, and design groups

  • Work cross functionally to develop and execute the ecosystem plan through all phases, including planning, delivery and ongoing management of key products and offerings

  • Influence the GTM prioritization and messaging priorities to align the Brand Experience Strategy

  • Openly work with development and management teams to evangelize the value of ecosystems and key experiences

  • Work with the consumer software planning team to support software priorities for the entire Consumer business as defined by the Brand Experience Strategy


  • BA/BS relevant degree, Master’s or PhD degree in related field, and 10+ years of relevant experience -specific product marketing experience preferred

  • Passion for consumer technologies and a customer driven mindset

  • Prior technology and product planning experience preferred

  • Able to work in a fast paced environment requiring daily decision making

  • Strong business acumen with strategic analysis skills and strong attention to detail

  • Attention to detail balanced with high level process overview/improvements

  • Collaborative approach with past success in influencing beyond sphere of direct control
