We’re relied upon to deliver sales presentations and product demonstrations to sales staff and customers and provide technical input into bid proposals. This is an opportunity to enhance your career path supporting the field sales and presales teams with pipeline identification and deal support for our Connectrix family of products and services. The role is dedicated to a specific sales area, or division, in the Americas, and will draw upon your ability to implement Technical Go-To-Market enablement and Business Development activities, leveraging various data sources, programs, and resources. You will act as a Storage Area Network subject matter expert and trusted advisor to the field. Day to day activities involve the identification of sales opportunities for our storage portfolio and the development and support of a pipeline of associated Connectrix opportunities aligned with them. Proactively develop and propose to the sales teams, the Connectrix solutions that meet the technology and business requirements of enterprise and mid-market customers.

Works with Sales Area leadership and corporate sales operations to collect and qualify target account lists and sales opportunities for Connectrix, aligned with Storage solutions
Prioritize, review, and support account sales opportunities within the region, maximizing the value of Connectrix products and services in support of account teams strategy and direction.
Create and provide technical presentations and input to sales pursuits.
Use tools to provide justifications, responses, and proposals, to sales and customers – solicited and unsolicited
Conducts research, answers questions and removes objections that arise in a Connectrix sales campaign.
Understands the competitive ecosystem within an assigned market.
Provide technical sales enablement presentations to Dell/EMC sales and pre-sales resources and division leadership
Maintains knowledge of competitive solutions to effectively address and dispel customer objections to Dell/EMC Storage Area Network solutions
Successfully builds relationships with division account teams, core and specialty, partners and customers, in support of sales team objectives
Engage and leverages corporate and partner resources, abilities, budgets and personnel as appropriate.
Presentation skill to lead technical enablement, pipeline review, and quarterly management updates
Understanding of how to position, recommend and influence customers on Connectrix MDS Products (from Cisco).
Complete required presales documentation quickly and accurately.
Knowledge of job associated software and applications
SME role; must possesses strong, detailed product/technology/industry knowledge, and effective communication skills.
Knowledge of Data Center Networks including Fiber Channel SAN, TCP/IP, WAN, DWDM, FICON, and specifically Cisco directors and switches
Results driven, customer focused with strong time management skills
Demonstrated ability to work independently, and leverage time effectively to support revenue objectives of the division
BS Degree Computer Science or related field desired
