Our Business Operations team within our Server & Infrastructure Systems organization is helping to ensure that our business is running as smooth as possible and that we are setup for future success. We engage in activities ranging from marketing and manufacturing to maintenance and more - we will spend time in pretty much all aspects of the business at some point in time. This is a new organization within the business - an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of where this business is headed as well as helping define the impact this organization will have across the business.
Our team will be responsible for helping govern several large businesses within Dell EMC
The team will focus on several areas including:
Ensuring key metrics are identified, tracked, and governed
Ensuring best practices are being followed throughout various groups within the organization
Working on key special projects throughout the organization
Working with our end to end teams including Engineering, Factory, Supply Chain, Services, Sales, etc. to make sure our business is flowing smoothly
Ensuring our budget process and procedures are solid and keeping watch over the businesses expenses
Transforming how we have worked to improve the way the business runs
To be successful in this role, candidates need the following:
A strong business acumen with the ability to pivot deep into various functional disciplines throughout the business
Enjoy dealing with ambiguity and helping define a net new function within a broad business
Strong at developing and building relationships as the team will need to work across a wide set of functions
10-15 years of experience in the enterprise space (Servers & HCI preferred) - candidates should understand these markets, where they are heading, and what is impacting them
A desire to learn and pivot into areas previously unknown
Have the ability to re-prioritize tasks on a regular basis as new tasks may pop up frequently and without notice
Direct Program Management Experience or related experience driving/owning a program
An understanding of the various technologies used within the Server & HCI space
An understanding of the flow from product design to selling to End of Life with some level of detailed understanding in each
Experience transforming how teams have worked
