The Business Strategy & Planning team is responsible for defining and driving the Client Product Group's path forward in the strategic horizon. You will be part of a high-profile team that is a primary enabler of the Dell's client strategy worldwide.

Responsibilities include:

  • Promotes the company's strategic vision and execution.

  • Designs, develops and articulates project’s objectives, approach, hypotheses, data requirements and work plan.

  • Works collaboratively with senior leadership across functions and groups.

  • Assists in leading due diligence reviews and other business/financial reviews.

  • Leads the research and analysis of market and industry trends to help identify and assess strategic opportunities.

  • Regularly makes presentations and recommendations to senior leadership team.

  • Identifies and brings key strategic issues and opportunities forward in a clear and structured way.

  • Manages and articulates project in a manner that team members understand direction, their role and responsibilities.

  • Challenges the status quo and enables the team to break patterns of thinking and behavior.

  • Packages deliverables in a clear and concise manner to help business partners make actionable decisions.

  • Develops and delivers thoughtful, compelling internal and external communications that articulate the company's and the Client Product Group's value proposition.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 8 years of business experience, preferably with a Tier 1 Consulting Firm, Investment Bank, and/or related work in the computing industry

  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred.

  • Excellent communications skills with ability to simplify and explain complex problems to stakeholders of all levels across multiple functions, with a willingness to challenge when necessary.

  • Experience delivering senior executive level presentations and communications.

  • Very strong understanding of business strategies and drivers

  • Demonstrated skills in fact-based analysis, presentation, and interpersonal interaction

  • Deep understanding of current technology trends and markets

  • Ability to think strategically, define and establish a long term vision, then own and drive that to reality over time.

  • Ability to influence at the executive level both internally and externally.

  • Demonstrated ability to partner, communicate, and manage cross functionally.

  • Expert analytical and quantitative skills, ability to use data in support of building action plans.
