Key Responsibilities

  • Develops marketing plans and sales enablement strategies for new software solutions, working closely with supporting product group and global communications teams.

  • Defines product/ solution strategies and identify opportunities to expand market share.

  • Manages product/ solutions launches to ensure sales force readiness and optimize P&L impact of product transition.

  • Develops value propositions for internal and external audiences relaying product/solution strategies. Work closely with Global Comms to dev content for inclusion in customer presentations and sales training materials

  • Works with demand, supply, and pricing teams to ensure accurate forecasting, lead-time estimating, and pricing for products/ solutions under management

  • Provides input into: item forecast & mix planning, category UPP and BU offer strategy as well as product transition playbooks (may also draft the playbooks)

  • Becomes subject-matter-expert for internal training and customer presentations. Maintain strong relationships and collaboration with key stakeholders worldwide.

  • Work closely with partners to bring their solutions to market.

  • Monitors competitive activity and identifies/communication of Dell differentiators through user experience, use cases, and FABs.

  • Oversees the analysis and evaluation of performance KPI’s

  • Enables e-commerce methodologies to transact sales through online and offline sales channels

  • Understands the PC market, competitive landscape, and key consumer and profit pools for software.

  • Position requires ability to interface with all levels of organization including the executive management team as well as external customers, executive management, press and industry analysts

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business or related area. MBA is strongly preferred.

  • 5-10 years of experience in marketing with a track record of measurable results preferably in the software and/or IT services industry.

  • 2 years experience working at Dell.

  • Thorough understanding of marketing vehicles and GTM strategy

  • Experience developing partner relationships taking partner solutions to market

  • Strong business acumen and analytic skills

  • Ability to travel internationally
