Dell Consumer and Small Business Targeting team - Data and Analytics Senior Manager in Austin, Texas

Lead, inspire and facilitate the work of our global Data and Analytics team. Analyze and define business needs and lead in developing appropriate solutions. Identify the organization's technological, functional and business strengths, establish data systems that leverage and capitalize on the knowledge of team members, and find ways to use that knowledge to maximize opportunities and improve business results. Formulate and define scope and objectives based on both end-user needs and a thorough understanding of business needs and business processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead our global Data and Analytics team, based out of multiple regions; Attract, retain, inspire, nurture talent within the organization

  • Foster a great work environment and a strong partnership with stakeholders; Organize and distribute work, align team priorities to Business Strategy and needs

  • Support team efforts, facilitate conflicts resolution, handle escalations and develop sustainable solutions; Work with business users to define and analyze problems, SLAs

  • Ensure, monitor, improve execution quality and velocity, controls Compliance; Guide the team to achieve business and operational objectives. Prepare materials for leadership presentations and collaborating with Go-To-Market leads for buying cycle planning

  • Provide detailed written specifications of work, directing process improvement, and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of data used by internal and external partners

  • Building and managing detailed requirements, data analysis and reporting capabilities alongside guiding the team ahead of run state

Essential Requirements

  • Unique knowledge/experience in Modern Marketing (Data, Tech and Digital Marketing)

  • Excellent grasp of Data, Analytics and IT deployments

  • Excellent understanding of Marketing Campaigns, vehicles, Contact Strategy and Operations

  • Excellent communication & collaboration skills; Proven virtual or physical leadership and project-management track-record

  • Proven experience in global or remote Services/Business support type of environment

  • 7 to 10 years of experience in data Analytics or Marketing/Business Operations or Program Management

  • Strong knowledge of planning, forecasting, and measurement techniques

  • Database marketing experience with multi-touch targeted communication strategies; Proven customer segmentation experience

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience in global or remote Services/Business support type of environment

  • Experience analyzing Marketing vehicle or campaign performance, optimizing customer experience

  • Experience designing and implementing new functional systems or processes

  • Experience in troubleshooting issues, stitching data and optimizing performance within databases and their outputs
