Dell CPM Client Peripherals Product Marketing Manager
The Client Solutions Group has end to end responsibility for defining and delivering our global product portfolio and enabling sales teams to exceed their revenue, unit, and margin targets across the entire Dell client solutions portfolio. This portfolio includes the Latitude, OptiPlex, Precision, Latitude Rugged, Inspiron, Vostro, XPS, Alienware, Displays, Client Peripherals, and Software Solutions and Cloud Client Computing, lines of business.
The Client Solutions Group is hiring a marketing professional that can build and nourish marketing programs that will directly contribute to the growth and evolution of Dell’s Client Peripheral (CP) Portfolio. We are looking for a proactive and creative person who is comfortable in developing marketing programs, engaging with sales makers, customers, and senior level executives to drive the Client Peripheral business. The individual will help create and manage the programs, integrate Client Peripherals into other programs and communicate KPIs to internal stakeholders. The Ideal candidate would be a creative leader that is driven to do things differently, bring new ideas to the table, drive execution and collaborate with customers and key teams across Dell. This individual would lead program core teams and align to the overarching Product Marketing Team to ensure we are driving impactful programs for the business.
Drives best-in-class Client Peripheral awareness and adoption programs with global marketing, regional marketing and sales leaders in existing Dell customer forums and events as well as incremental opportunities to position the Dell Client Peripheral portfolio
Integrate Client Peripherals into all CPM programs, even those that are primarily focused on client devices – ensure Client Peripherals is included in the processes with APEX, PCaaS, Client Hardware, Displays and Services in a manner that drives exposure and interest in the ecosystem solution. The target audience should think about how Client Peripherals improve the overall experience
Collaborates with regional teams, training teams and others to develop key competitive insights with the goal of enabling sellers to have effective conversations with customers on positioning the entire client peripherals portfolio
Develop in-depth Client Peripheral product training and education programs that empowers sales, sales support, regional marketers and others to effectively understand and position the CP portfolio globally
Manage program work with outside creative agencies
Develop strategic plans for CP product initiatives with Executive Leadership feedback and approval to drive buy in on team alignment and execution.
Ability to program manage and implement governance processes across all go to market programs for effective planning and execution of critical Client Peripheral initiatives.
Collaborate across commercial and consumer PG, marketing and sales teams to develop competitive assets and programs to help drive customer acquisition.
Establish Go To Market Activities that position our Client Peripheral business as the award winning Line of Business that it is to get sales and customers to think of Client Peripherals as a stand alone business that works with any vendors product, not just something that ‘attached’ to Dell hardware.
Create and help drive via inclusion in existing forums or create separate Customer Advisory Councils focused on improving, testing, and adding products with both existing and new customers. Work to foster and drive creative ideas for how we engage sales and customers in new, unique, and effective ways – be an out of the box thinker

6 to 10 years’ experience in product marketing, sales, or other customer engagement roles
Superior project management skills, including managing and influencing multiple projects simultaneously
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing or related field
Working knowledge of Dell’s Client Solutions portfolio of products, services, and solutions to best position the CSG portfolio for success
Comfortable working with and influencing both executives and C-level customers
Knows how to navigate a fast-paced, global environment requiring daily decision-making, ability to multi-task and work with ambiguity
Creative problem-solving skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong Presentation Skills
Experience working with a global team
Strong knowledge of Dell’s Client Peripherals portfolio
Experience with MDF requirements and processes (experience with Dell Viper MDF processes a plus)
Experience working with outside creative agencies
