What you'll achieve
We are looking for a highly motivated and autonomous individual to lead the Americas Consumer and Small Business Dell.com team. This leader is responsible for a team of approximately 18-20 team members that manage the day-to-day execution of Dell.com CSB product launches, campaigns, pathing & navigation improvements, offer promotion, and online initiatives within the Americas Dell.com business.
Provides direction and guidance for operations, administration and results for a major department or multiple departments within a function or work area
Assists in implementing tactical and strategic change through subordinate managers Provides authoritative advice to top management based on deep subject matter expertise.
Leads a team of managers responsible for carrying out the objectives of the department and work area.
Assists in building long term development and succession plans.
Applies influence and negotiation skills to drive business results Guided by long term objectives and business requirements.
Daily cross-functional collaboration with Merchandising, Marketing, CoC & Engineering. Need to tie conversations together with autonomy (Supply, Pricing, Promotions, Product, Marcom etc.) to deliver seamless online customer experience.
Direct Team through ways to improve online merchandising, promotional, and content management capabilities with existing functionality and future IT roadmap input (from change the business team) to maximize customer consideration and conversion.
Track record of proven business results in marketing and online functions (search, online merchandising, content, navigation, web analytics, site taxonomy).
Continuous interaction throughout the day to ensure Team is executing the promo, pricing and product plan that delivers URM commit.

Able to reconcile competing objectives and set higher level priorities, as well as providing thought leadership for their respective function.
Determines how the given marketing strategy may impact other business units. Advocate for customer insights and ensures that they guide marketing positioning and longer term marketing strategy.
Typically 15+ years of relevant eCommerce experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience
Typically requires 7+ years diversified leadership, planning, communication, organization and people motivation skills (or equivalent experience).
This person is integral to ensuring the maximization of conversion and customer satisfaction and is tasked to deliver a high degree of output quality through critical problem-solving skills in a highly ambiguous, fluid and fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will have a track record of sales or marketing effectiveness, with a strong foundation of effective eCommerce communications within B2C and/or B2B framework. Additionally, robust attention to detail, autonomy, and problem solving of highly technical issues is critical. We are looking for a strong team lead with a positive, energetic and "can-do" attitude.
