This opportunity builds on the heritage of Dell and EMC, and their worldwide presence, to lead the next evolution of computing, cloud and data technologies.

Dell is looking for a Branding Manager, Naming for our Austin, TX location.

Responsibilities

  • Strategizing product naming to provide customers with a consistent, understandable experience

  • Working with marketing and internal creative teams to brainstorm names for new products, colors, and other assets

  • Managing pan-Dell model number guidance and ensuring all LOBs align to governance

  • Developing solutions/recommendations for model number conflicts and hosting monthly meetings with executives to align on frequently raised issues

  • Liaising with Legal & Brand team on any new product that needs to be run through Dell processes

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or Design and 5+ years of related experience

  • Experience in creating and managing brand strategies, particularly relating to product naming

  • Experience in managing programs in a creative space, marketing communications, or creative writing

  • Excellent organizational skills, must be able to handle multiple priorities in efficient manner
