Director, Analytics and Data Science

  • Lead Data & Analytics teams to solve new and abstract problems in an agile manner; communicate data-based insights to drive actions, recommendations, and business decisions.

  • Build a prioritized roadmap to leverage Advanced Analytics & Data Science capabilities to drive value across Process Modernization efforts.

  • Lead and conduct deep-dive analyses to identify needs and priorities of the business. Facilitate data-driven and informed decision making and prioritization.

  • Formulate and define analytics projects, timeline, objectives, and implications based on both business needs and a thorough understanding of business processes.

  • Appropriately allocate resources to ensure that Data & Analytics projects effectively drive business value.

  • Bridge the gap between Data & Analytics and stakeholders in other key functions across Process Modernization.

  • Recruit and develop a Data & Analytics organization, determining the right resources to be able to effectively execute analytics projects. Scale the organization as business needs increase to drive incremental value.

  • Serve as an advocate for the Data & Analytics organization


  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or related discipline (Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, etc.); Master’s degree preferred.

  • At least 10 years' expertise in data analytics and at least 5 years’ experience of leading data & analytics teams that have delivered business value (focus on applied vs. research setting).

  • Ability to mentor, develop and lead teams towards meeting business objectives.

  • Solid working knowledge of SQL, Python, and Tableau.

  • Executive presence a must with ability to effectively communicate through verbal and written formats.

  • Experience communicating effectively with business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders of different disciplines.

  • Strong presentation skills with ability to take very technical concepts and translate to business value to various audiences.

  • Experience conducting analyses to drive business value through effective communication and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with others building relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.

  • Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment with minimal guidance.
