Director - eDiscovery, Forensics and Investigations (eFI)

Location: Round Rock, TX

What you’ll achieve

As the Director of eFI , you will lead a global forensics team responsible for providing sensitive, mission-critical data derived through eDiscovery, digital investigative analysis, and forensic examination services . You will work across the Cybersecurity organization to drive strategic goals and with internal customers to provide them with the information and analysis they need to make informed decisions.

You will:

  • Manage a technical forensics team responsible for identification, preservation, processing, production and disposition of electronically stored information for investigations and legal matters

  • Influence the long-term focus for the team, develop strategy and goals, establish operational goals to drive success, and assess, establish, and shift priorities as needed

  • Drive corporate programs and ensure deadlines are met while also ensuring that security goals and initiatives are successfully implemented

  • Collaborate with other leaders in Cybersecurity, IT, and Business to meet customer requirements, project milestones, and service levels

  • Develop complex solutions to business problems or customer engagements through in- depth evaluation, coordination and negotiation with key decision makers

  • Advise and counsel key leadership on the latest standards, practices, and/or technologies and their practical application

Essential Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience working in the Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR) space with experience in large enterprise technology environments

  • Strong people management experience with the ability to direct a global team

  • Experience with forensic processes and procedures (chain of custody, computer acquisition techniques, and memory acquisition techniques)

  • Experience using Insider Risk management tools including DLP, CASB, UEBA

  • Experience using forensics tools (e.g. EnCase, FTK, Axiom, MacQuistion, SleuthKit, Volatility, etc.)

Desired Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or other related field with 12+ years relevant experience; or equivalent relevant experience

  • One or more of the following certifications is preferred: CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CFCE, CCE, GCFA, GNFA
