What you will achieve

You will be a key technologist as part of a small group of senior technologists and will drive future silicon architecture requirements and technologies to shape the client business 2+ years out. You will be partnering with key internal stakeholders within the Experience Innovation Group, broader Client Solutions Group to develop recommendations for productization. Responsible to influence and develop technologies with key external stakeholders including technology partners like Intel, ARM, Microsoft and startup companies as appropriate. Success in the role will be based on adoption of recommendations for strategic decisions, portfolio commitment for the recommended architectures and technologies and successful influence of the ecosystem for Dell’s benefit.

Essential Requirements

  • 15+ years experience in client architecture spanning hardware, OS, platform software and client applications. Proven work in Connectivity and Edge solutions architecture.

  • 10+ years experience decomposing experiences and usages based into architectural definition and requirements.

  • Meets TLC (Technical Leadership Community) requirements

  • 5+ years of recent communications and networking industry experience with proven results through architecture and technology innovation partnerships with customers and ecosystem partners.

  • Successful track record of thought and technology leadership driving disruptive architectures and technologies which have translated to products and solutions for the company’s benefit.

  • Very strong influencing and interpersonal abilities demonstrated in agile decisions and trend of high employee promoter scores.

  • Proven results influencing technology partners on customers on new and disruptive architectures and technologies.

  • Active leadership in industry standards groups relevant to Communications and Networking technologies

  • Track record of patents related to Communications and Networking architecture and technologies innovation

Desirable Requirements

  • Expertise in Compute and Sensor technologies
