Job Description Summary: The Products & Operations Diversity Strategist will develop, implement and manage a variety of programs to continue bringing Dell’s diversity commitment to life. This role will lead D&I initiatives in recruiting, engagement, development and retention of diverse talent across the P&O organization. The successful candidate will have a strong background in analytics, data-based decision-making, program execution and delivery. Strong stakeholder management & project management skills are a must. Successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering complex programs for multiple stakeholders.

The Diversity Strategist ensures D&I projects run seamlessly from start to finish and will partner with other Project and Program Managers to ensure our cross-functional teams work collaboratively and effectively. This role will oversee initial plans, set budgets, track project activities and communicate milestones to key stakeholders.

The P&O Diversity Strategist will develop and manage a variety of programs and activities that accelerate the recruiting, development and retention of diverse talent and other diversity & inclusion programs as appropriate.


  • Execution of diversity strategy through recruitment programs, including campus and professional hiring.

  • Identify new opportunities to gain traction in campus diversity hiring & retention and work with stakeholders to design & deliver solutions.

  • Utilize ongoing analytics to understand progress, derive insights, and make data-driven recommendations.

  • Continue to bring outside-in thinking, perspectives, industry data and insights to bear to ensure Dell Products and Operations is at or better than market in our diversity hiring and retention practices.

  • Drive leadership alignment to proposed activities.

  • Accelerate results through pro-actively addressing challenges and obstacles.

  • As appropriate, develop and deliver pilot programs, incorporate improvements, and own launch and delivery.

  • Develop and manage standard metrics to track short term and long-term impact and derive insights as the initiatives evolve over time.

  • Partner with P&O & HR leaders and team members to identify and share best practices.


  • Undergraduate degree and 7+ years relevant experience or Graduate degree and 5+ years relevant experience in D&I program management, stakeholder management, and senior level communications

  • Proven track record of delivering complex programs for multiple stakeholders.

  • Effective stakeholder management & project management skills .

  • Executive and team member stakeholder management

  • Effective written and verbal communication

  • Demonstrable consulting skills


  • Experience in diversity programs

  • Research and benchmarking
