Our Strategy team deals with a wide range of initiatives including game changing transformation, strategic planning, business opportunities, partnerships, etc.. Providing leadership in design, planning and due diligence, they lead the development of our business to help achieve our long-term growth objectives. They also keep us ahead of the curve by analyzing trends and developments in markets and technology before translating them into strategic operational plans. Global Operations Strategy team reports to the Chief Supply Chain Officer and is responsible for designing and implementing advance supply chains across Dell’s lines of business. The team consists of high-profile members who were ex-consultants from McKinsey, BCG and A.T. Kearney and alumni from Harvard, MIT, INSEAD, Yale and Princeton.

Play an active role and own multiple workstreams in critical projects to improve our global supply chain. Own multiple stakeholder relationships to develop solutions and influence change. Drive key strategic initiatives for the organization, guiding small, focused teams. Conduct stakeholder interviews. Plan and facilitate workshops, identify and structure problems, create hypotheses and execute analysis. Translate data into meaningful insights, present recommendations to key decision matters. Work with top executives across the organization and influence senior level thinking.

You will

Provide analytical rigor and produce fact-based reports and analyses to support decision making.

Conduct extensive research and coordinating with cross-functional teams to collect business critical data

Analyze data to derive implications and/or create relevant business/industry reports

Support the formulation of insights and recommendations as part of a Strategy project team

Working in a fast paced dynamic environment and m able to carry out detailed and accurate data analysis on a consistent basis.

Essential Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Management, Supply Chain,, or related field of study plus 4+ years of strategic planning and/or corporate financial consulting experience and/or equivalent experience

Ability to work in a fast paced dynamic environment

Demonstrable experience carrying out detailed and accurate data analysis on a consistent basis.

Effective communication - verbal, written and presentation skills

Analytical, organizational and collaborative skills

Desirable Requirements

Strategy consulting; complex analytics and synthesizing actionable recommendations;

Project management methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall; MS tools such as (Excel, Visual basic, PowerPoint, and Visio)

Advanced analytics, modeling techniques such as Monte-Carlo simulation, linear and multivariate regression models, simulating basic supply chain scenarios.
