Global supply at one of the world’s largest technology companies is no small challenge. It’s complex, fast moving, ever changing and above all exciting. It keeps our people on their toes. Our Global Supply Management team within Materials and Procurement takes charge of global supply planning for specific platforms and commodity areas. Focused on business goals and objectives, we take the lead in supplier selection, product delivery specifications and quality. We succeed through our ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with global internal and external supply chain partners.
Arrange and balance incoming supply to support MRP in all regions
Anticipate and adjust to market conditions and changing demand to ensure flow of material
Manage relationship with HDD suppliers, coordinate Quarterly Business Reviews and drive improvements to scorecard
Coordinate product transitions to drive adoption of new material
Manage inventory levels and aging material within goal
Bachelor's degree, preferably in supply chain, business or economics
5-10 years experience in supply chain
Excellent analytical skills, thorough but with a sense of urgency
Demonstrated communication and presentation skills
Experience with market commodities
