Dell IT Recent Grad Program Sr Advisor in Austin, Texas

IT Program Management Senior Advisor

Tasks / Responsibilities:

  • Planning and execution of IT Development Program for USbased participants.

  • Partner with Global Career Dev program owner and Regional ITDP leads to ensure an appropriate curriculum is in place for program participants, and to ensure consistent delivery of program objectives and requirements.

  • Manage and facilitate US ITDP meetings, committees, boot camps, ad hoc training sessions, communications, and graduation requirements tracking.

  • Review and recommend changes as needed to ITDP Academy curriculum to ensure training is appropriate to build our future ready talent and changing business objectives.

  • Support US ITDP participants as needed with regards to career planning, training questions, role placement, and development recommendations.

  • Support CIO People learning and team enrichment events as needed (Annual Summit, CIO People Rally)

  • Communication and Leadership skills

  • Technical Acumen – strong understanding of the industry and Dell Technologies

  • Ramp quickly Ability to work in a large/complex organization, understand breadth of needs, and prioritize accordingly

  • Strong focus on understanding and meeting needs for our customers

  • Good Planning Skills. 

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to self-starter manage own work and follow up/coordinate task with others.

  • Must have strong time management and organizational skills.

* Functional Technical Skills*

  • Learning & Development experience

  • IT industry, technology experience.

  • Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook

  • Basic knowledge in Microsoft SharePoint is a plus.

  • Experience in project administration

Experience (Recommended):

  • 4-6 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience
