We are currently looking for a Mergers & Acquisitions Accounting Senior Advisor in our Round Rock offices. The candidate must be highly organized and detail-oriented with a strong work ethic and the ability to display a high level of integrity in dealing with confidential information. The candidate should also have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and enjoy the challenge of working on complex deal structures and analysis. In addition, excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and presentation skills as well as the ability to summarize conclusions and make recommendations clearly and succinctly are required.
- ● Assist the M&A Senior Manager & team as the day-to-day accounting point of contact for strategic activities of the company, including:● Purchase accounting activities● Valuation analysis and expertise● Divestiture or carve-out execution● Work cross-functionally with other departments to assist with transition and integration activities from strategic projects● Dynamic team member to assist with ad hoc requests and analysis as new projects arise
- ● Minimum 3-5 years of accounting and finance experience● Public accounting experience strongly preferred● Previous experience in mergers & acquisitions accounting / technical accounting preferred● CPA or pursuit of CPA license● Effective partnering and communication across cross-functional groups● Strong judgment for subjective decisions● Vision to self-start and problem solve without significant direction
- Prior experience in Public Accounting, Corporate Development, Technical Accounting, Equity Accounting, or Treasury Accounting role
