When you’re working in the fast-moving world of technology, product availability is critical – which makes the availability of raw materials for production critical too. Our Material Planning team provides a controlled flow of materials to meet production requirements. We produce detailed schedules, adapting them if necessary to meet backlogs or material shortages, as well as material requirement lists and production plans that balance the demand and supply position of platforms and commodities to optimize product availability and cost. We’re experts at resolving problems with inventory, production schedules or material shortages and recommending procedures to avoid future problems.

Execute ship planning and outlook operations for Americas’ region; forecasting weekly shipments of more than 400K+ computer systems while maintaining accuracy above 90%.
Lead the digitization of key backlog management and ship planning processes; facilitating the team’s transformation to Business Intelligence tools to established more effective data analytics.
Responsible for the outlook and ship planning.
Align with demand planning on the Sales plan and customer delivery assumptions
Align material recovery with Procurement
Align capacity with factories and merge centers
Communicate with leadership on assumptions for backlog and shipments for future weeks

Bachelors in Computer Science/Supply Chain and/or relevant degree and 8+ years of related material planning or supply chain experience.
Effective communication and presentation skills
Leadership skills / Ability to take the lead and drive initiatives
Team player / Ability to work across cross-functional teams
Proficient in using Power BI/R/Tableau/Power Point
SQL/Python knowledge would be an added advantage
