About Business Unit:

Dell's IT Services organization, Fulfillment System, Supply chain Management, team is hiring a Consultant - to deliver on initiatives for our global cross segment customers. Responsibilities will include Designs, codes, tests, debugs and documents software according to Dell’s systems quality standards, policies and procedures. Analyzes business needs and creates software solutions. Responsible for preparing design documentation. Works with business and development teams to clarify requirements to ensure testability. Drafts, revises, and maintains test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts. Fulfillment IT team is an essential part of the Dell Supply Chain Platform team - building solutions that allows our customers to deliver on Dell's current and transformational initiatives. You will play a defining role in the continuing evolution of Dell’s Supply chain Product transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in crafting the strategic technical and architectural direction to the programming functions.

  • Act as prime consultant on large projects that affect the organizations long-term goals and objectives.

  • Acquire detailed specification from business users and development to ascertain specific output.

  • Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.

  • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

  • Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues.

  • Adapt to constant technical changes and has a high degree of accountability, commitment and responsibility .

Essential Requirements:

  • 8 to 12 years of software development experience with sophisticated knowledge on IT principles, design patterns and enterprise architecture.

  • Knowledge to analyze and develop solutions to highly complex problems and the ability to lead large projects.

  • Extremely good understanding of Microservices architecture and building scalable enterprise services.

  • Strong knowledge in the .NET framework, .NET Core, C#, REST, MVC, WCF and Web Services.

  • Hands on experience with NoSQL DBs (Mongo, Elastic Search, Graph DB, Cassandra) and RDBMS (SQL Server, Oracle)

  • Proficient in the event based architecture with RabbitMQ, Kafka.

  • Experience in the working with CI/CD methodologies and tools.

  • Experience in building cloud-native services and working knowledge on AWS or Azure or Pivotal Cloud Foundry.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Exposure to containers and working knowledge with Docker and Kubernetes.

  • Experience with UI/UX frameworks and micro-front ends such as Angular/React.
