What you’ll achieve
As a Process Engineering Consultant, you will be part of a hand-picked internal process engineering team with high visibility to Dells executive. You should be comfortable with a fast-paced dynamic environment, be able to clearly and concisely communicate recommendations and conclusions with the support of detailed analysis and sources and may be asked to regularly participate in cross-functional teams in support of initiatives throughout the supply chain organization.

Commodity Management within Materials and Procurement develops and implements plans to support forecasted needs for suppliers or commodities. We use our in-depth knowledge of foreign and domestic markets to negotiate supplier agreements and contracts with optimum pricing and terms. We also harness our understanding of commodity qualities, transportation options, risk management and supply chain evaluation models to develop optimal commodity management strategies.
Play an active role and own multiple workstreams in critical projects to improve our global, end-to-end supply chain and own multiple stakeholder relationships to develop solutions and influence change
Responsible for driving key strategic initiatives for the organization, leading small, focused teams
Conduct stakeholder interviews. Plan and facilitate workshops.
Identify and structure problems, create hypotheses and execute analysis; Translate data into meaningful insights; Present recommendations to key decision makers
Work with top executives across the organization and influence senior level thinking

8+ years of related experience in a professional role with a Bachelor’s degree; or 5+ years with a Master’s degree; or equivalent experience
Experience in multiple functions within the supply chain, with a demonstrated ability to ramp quickly into a new environment with new challenges. Flexibility to quickly adapt to new challenges and learn new material
Distinctive problem solving and analytical thinking skills, strong leadership skills and an ownership mindset and effective project and change management skills and experience
Strong influencing skills and ability to build lasting relationships across multiple layers in the organization
Strong understanding and project experience in business strategies and drivers
Graduate degree with Supply Chain or procurement experience
Agile Scrum and Project Management Experience
Experience with automation, analytics tools and packages
- Familiarity with database languages and big data analysis tools is a plus, but not required
