Product Line Sr. Advisor
The Product Marketing Sr. Advisor is responsible for the Product Management of Epson inkjet printers in North America. The role is responsible for driving product level sales, marketing and promotional aspects across consumer and small business segments. The position plans the Epson strategy within Dell for printers in North America, works with Epson marketing and product specialists on market analysis and to monitor competitive activity, identifies customer needs and communicate those needs back to Epson. The role also involves new Epson product launches, training of Dell core and Imaging specialists in CSB, works with pricing team on pricing strategy and provides demand forecast planning to distributors.
Developing growth plans for Epson products across Consumer and Small Business.
Forecasting guidance for monthly and quarterly locks.
Work with pricing team on competitive price strategy within the MAP guidelines and promotional roadmaps. Supports bids and special pricing requests.
Manage marketing campaigns, forums and customer events
Driving weekly, monthly and quarterly actions with sales on large deals, run rate, program execution
Working across multiple segments to drive revenue and margin goals in CSB.
Recommending new creative ways to reach Dell customers/prospects: either enhancing existing Marcom or delivering custom marcom materials
Preparing plans, strategies and business cases for leadership presentations
Requires 3+ years diversified, planning, Marketing (or equivalent experience)
Prefer 5+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Relevant work experience in printer industry is a plus
Education Requirement: Bachelor degree in a relevant field (masters preferred)
Capable of ramping quickly on Printer products and business processes.
Strong analytical skills, is able utilize available data and reporting, to drive key business insights and opportunities, as well as analytic support and leadership for Sales GM reviews with company leadership and field marketing team support
Have strong self-motivation, with the ability to establish productive, collaborative relationships
Prioritize those crucial few actions to drive the printer business
Display solid business sense, with the ability to identify actions based on objective and subjective inputs
Have excellent inter-personal skills to work effectively in a team, and be able to communicate up through the executive level
Enjoy working closely with sales, sales leadership, and cross-functional marketing teams to drive printer & Imaging business Goals.
