Dell Senior Advisor, Project/Program Management in Austin, Texas

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own creation and delivery of monthly/quarterly organizational metrics. Includes but not limited to: Top Talent Planning (succession plans, success metrics, progression patterns), Recent Grad Strategy planning, Diversity & Inclusion analytics, Pay Planning, and Organizational Hygiene and Workforce Optimization and Compliance.

  • Identifies and brings key strategic issues and opportunities forward in a clear and structured way. Translates data into insights.

  • Works collaboratively with business partners across functions and groups. Supports analytical skill development/training for HRBP core team

  • Collects and structures data for analysis for modelling and other project objectives

  • Creates predictive modeling and solutions to advance talent analytics in support of our talent priorities

  • Drives key strategic initiatives & project planning.

  • Leverages key internal and external resources to build own content knowledge of organizational and business trends

  • Consults other HR Talent Analysts to help solve complex problems and generate insights that leverage org. and talent data. Evaluate current state, understand the business problem and identify how data can provide possible solutions to address

  • Performs data mining using advanced data analytics techniques to identify patterns and trends.

  • Proactively develops and maintains relationships with relevant subject matter experts

  • Champions and advances the Talent Analytics agenda and acts as a liaison between data scientists and HRBPs

Essential Requirements

  • Expert level Excel and SharePoint

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills – creating presentations, executive presence, possesses excellent listening, negotiation and persuasion skills

  • Qualitative and Quantitative Analytical ability. Predictive modeling a plus

  • Innovative and structured thinking

  • Experience leading long-term, large scale projects.

  • Experience with Workday Tableau and other BI software a plus
