Senior Analyst, Corporate Development (M&A)

What you’ll achieve

As a Senior Analyst on the Corporate Development team, you will be a key contributor to ongoing inorganic growth and strategy efforts across the family of Dell Technologies businesses. You will work closely with the Dell business units on development of strategic objectives and as part of a team to evaluate and execute initiatives, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, partnerships, alliances, and/or joint ventures, necessary for Dell to achieve its long-term growth and profitability objectives. This is an opportunity to be part of a small, high performing group of dedicated corporate development professionals and have high exposure to key business leaders.

You will:

  • Collaborate with business units to refine and quantify strategic objectives

  • Perform research and industry benchmarking using various databases and sources (equity research, FactSet, etc.)

  • Identify, research and recommend industries, companies and technologies for Dell to evaluate

  • Develop complex valuation and financial analyses (DCF, market multiples assessment, impact to Dell’s financials, etc.)

  • Build preliminary and final acquisition and investment business plans / operating models with a cross-functional team

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience (e.g., investment banking, corporate development, private equity, venture capital)

  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills; ability to structure analysis with limited guidance, interpret information to complete analysis and extract key themes

  • Ability to organize, facilitate, and / or manage a pipeline of different projects

  • Ability to work cross-functionally and in a fast paced, dynamic environment

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience with technology industry preferred
