This position is part of the newly formed Business Planning and Operations organization that supports a highly profitable $2.6B Data Protection business. The key objective for this team is to develop, enable, execute and measure our PBU strategic plan to deliver a stellar experience for our customers and grow in revenue, profitability and share for the business. This is a senior-level, critical, full-time role that provides business intelligence and strategic planning support across all regions and business segments of our Data Protection division.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a portfolio of data analytics initiatives, driving to completion through data gathering and research, quantitative analysis, implementation and creation of KPI’s, deliverables and reports

  • In-depth analysis of business opportunities and challenges, historic business trends and insights from internal and external data sources

  • Utilize various software packages and tools for collecting, mining, interpreting and reporting data

  • Develop reports, analytics and visualizations building upon the data models and trends

  • Closely partner with Business Intelligence analysts across different divisions to develop best-of-breed shared analytics and best practices

  • Develop, maintain and grow the library of Business Intelligence reports and insights for regular executive leadership consumption, Deliver ad-hoc data and report requests for the division

  • Utilize various software packages and tools for collecting, mining, interpreting and reporting data

  • Become a Subject Matter Expert on product metrics, both in the analysis methodology and in analyzing/reporting week-over-week trends

Essential Requirements

  • Exceptional analytical experience related to building reports and/or working with database tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, SQL, PHP, etc.; Tableau experience is critical

  • Mastery in data analytics tools with experience automating complex Business Intelligence reports; must have excellent quantitative data analysis, problem solving and analytical thinking skills

  • Strength in creating presentations, strategic insights and reports for executive level dashboards

  • Experience presenting to an executive level audience

  • Ability to understand business challenges/initiatives and provide the right data insights to arrive at solutions

  • Ability to streamline reporting functions and identify/develop the right set of business metrics to track initiatives

  • Inquisitive attitude towards problem finding, problem analysis and problem solving

  • Bachelors and 12+ years of related experience OR Masters and 8+ years OR PhD and 3+ years OR equivalent experience; Masters in Information Technology, Analytics, Data Science, Statistics or other related field highly desired.
