Senior Consultant, ISG Strategy & Ops

What you’ll achieve
This position requires extensive cross-group orchestration, excellent oral and written communication skills, and the ability to formulate issues, problem statements and recommendations clearly. Attention to detail, project management skills, and a highly organized, strategic-focused mind are required to manage executive priorities and deliverables. You will challenge the status quo and lead teams to work and think differently. You will be responsible for solving some of ISG’s most strategic, highly complex business problems while developing strategies for where to play and how to win.
Partner & lead multiple concurrent projects for senior leadership throughout our Infrastructure Solutions Group to identify new or refine existing business model opportunities, profit pools and/or partnerships.
Develop & create strategic frameworks and approaches to tackle complex problems that help align stakeholders across business, sales, technical and product strategy applications.
Gather research and analyze data to drive diagnostic rigor in developing actionable solutions and making decisions.
Demonstrated hypothesis-driven problem-solving orientation (technical, business, etc.) with exceptional ability to facilitate and direct structured quantitative and qualitative analyses.
Work cross-functionally with internal customers/colleagues including product, sales, go-to-market, technology and research & engineering groups.

Minimum of 10 – 15 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, strategic consulting, investment banking, economics, finance, business planning, and/or equivalent experience or 10 – 15 years of related experience working in technology sector.
Experience working as a Strategy Consultant in a large enterprise environment.
Outstanding problem solving, structuring, analytical, and mentorship skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to executive/C-level stakeholders; ability to influence without direct authority.
Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.)
Understand and stay current on tech industry trends, competitive landscape, and internal product development efforts.
Technical or domain expertise across the data center desirable but not mandatory.
