Join us as a Portfolio Strategist Senior Consultant on our Client Product Group (CPG) Software and Experiencesteam to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact.

What you’ll achieve

As a member of the CPG Software and Experiences team focusing on endpoint security and manageability strategy, you will define the portfolio NorthStar through collaboration with key stakeholders and socialize it to ensure alignment. You will be responsible for defining and guiding the roadmap 1-3 years out. This position requires a strong understanding of the market we operate in with a keen sense of customer needs, and deep subject matter expertise in security and manageability best practices. You will be responsible for market landscape assessment and finding opportunity areas for the Dell portfolio play.

You will:

  • Think BIG and develop innovative ideas. You will see opportunities where others don’t.

  • Be the Thought Leader in portfolio level planning

  • Own product portfolio strategy and the medium to longer term roadmap (1-3yrs)

  • Help develop long-term strategic plans for the future product lines

  • Perform ongoing market landscape and technology assessment to ensure Dell CPG is positioned for success

  • Possess influencing skills to gain stakeholder alignment on the product/solution vision

  • Identify user personas, identify market opportunities, and communicate product strategy to stakeholders

  • Identify key customer problem areas that can be solved using solutions that Dell can creates

  • Be on the lookout for significant market, technology or competitor shifts and recommend changes to the portfolio that could represent new opportunities, threats or needs to alter product strategy

  • Be the primary interface into the CTO organization to ensure the product and solution strategy closely align with the CTO vision

  • Collaborate with the Product Managers, to ensure the solution vision is executed

Essential Requirements

  • 12-15 years of professional Product Management experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8+ years with a Master’s degree; or commensurate experience

  • Experience in the Enterprise Information Technology or similar industry

  • Experience setting north star visions and gathering requirements

  • Familiarity with Client Systems Management and Endpoint Security

Desirable Requirements

  • Pragmatic Marketing Certification

  • CISSP
