Dell Senior Product Development Engineer - Remote US in Austin, Texas

What you’ll achieve:

In this high-visibility position, you will be responsible for serving as a Systems Development Engineer delivering multi-product solutions on a regular cadence. Your role will require collaboration with the storage engineering teams, PowerEdge engineering teams, PowerSwitch engineering teams, marketing teams, and other internal teams all with the goal of taking to market a complex solution. This is a fast pace role that will expose you to multiple differentiated products and other industry leading technology. You will participate and drive various aspects of the product development lifecycle delivering to a portfolio roadmap.

You will:

  • Drive the multi-product solution deliverables accountable to the core team and leadership

  • Lead weekly coordination meetings of functional extended teams

  • Ensure consistent communication of project status and risks

  • Create and or maintain cross-functional engineering development schedules.

  • Plan, allocate, budget, and manage platform materials (e. g. prototypes, peripherals)

Essential Requirements:

  • Have a product development background with a track record of delivery

  • Strong understanding of product development life cycle.

  • Design and product release background

  • Ability to thrive in a self-directed environment

  • Proven ability to work with global extended teams and suppliers to meet goals

  • Clear communication skills both oral and written

  • Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment

Desirable Requirements:

  • Thorough knowledge of the Dell Engineering Development Process

  • Clear communication skills both oral and written

  • College Degree Preferred
