IT Senior Software Engineer

What you’ll achieve
As an IT Senior Software Engineer, you will deliver products and improvements for a changing world. Working at the cutting edge, you will craft and develop software for platforms, peripherals, applications and diagnostics — all with the most sophisticated technologies, tools, software engineering methodologies and partnerships.
-Design specifications for high availability and highly scalable applications which will be used by both internal and external customers
-Work with clients and business analysts to settle software requirements and system impacts
-Manage projects with small to moderate budgets; may perform in project leadership role and/or supervise the activities of lower-level personnel
-Conduct and supervise production launches and post-launch support, coordinating with geographically distributed teams in conference calls
-Be a key part of the full product development life cycle of software applications
-Investigate and resolve complex issues in connected application stack
-Research, validate and recommend key technology decisions for the core platform
-Plan and execute highly parallel distributed object storage transformations and migrations
-Identify technical debt, derive workable plan & proposal for rewrites - technology advancements that could potentially benefit business / IT

Bachelor’s degree with minimum of 7+ years of related experience or Master’s degree with 5+ years of experience
Required technical expertise in .Net core, C#, ASP.Net, WCF, MVC architecture, Web Services technologies (including REST, SOAP and WSDL, SOA concepts)
Experience in architecting and implementing highly scalable, high throughput web applications and backend systems
Software Engineering experience of systems re-engineering form legacy to latest technologies
Experience with SQL, NoSQL Database and coding
Experience maintaining automated test suites using CI/CD tools
General understanding of Angular JS, Node JS and/or scripting languages: e.g., Python
Knowledge of Linux/Unix environments & Network
Work experience with an enterprise software or web company is important
Software development experience in any of the Cloud (Azure/AWS)
Exposure to mature development processes including use of source code control systems like GIT
