In this exciting and new role, you will work on the next generation of Secureworks’ security platform. You’ll join a very seasoned team of Software Engineers, Product Managers, Security Experts, and Data Scientists, and collaborate with stakeholders across security and technology groups to drive innovation.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience designing cybersecurity software products from the ground up and helping bring a new offering to market. This role requires someone who can take ideas from concept to reality and work well within an entrepreneurial and collaborative environment.
Core Responsibilities Include
Define interaction models, user task flows, and UI specifications
Communicate scenarios, end-to-end experiences, interaction models, and screen designs to stakeholders
Develop prototypes for upcoming features to solicit early feedback
Work with engineering and product management to incorporate designs into new feature development
Develop and maintain design wireframes, mockups, and specifications as needed
Analyze user feedback and activity and iterate to enhance the user experience
Required Skills and Experience
5+ years of enterprise software design experience
Bachelor’s degree in visual design, communications, computer science, or psychology
Preferred Skills and Experience
3+ years of experience software design experience in the Cybersecurity market
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience designing software from early stage/incubation through general availability (GA)
Track record working on innovative and entrepreneurial projects, either within a large organization or in a startup
Track record working in a geographically distributed environment
