Server Quality Principal Engineer

What you’ll achieve
As a Principal Quality Engineer in Server Quality, you will be responsible for directly supporting major Telco customers. You will act as a liaison between the customer and the product core team to drive continuous improvement in product and customer experience.
Identify and resolve problems affecting Dell-EMC customers
Research, evaluate, develop, or implement new processes, methods, or test plans
Drive corrective action to eliminate or limit exposure to issues
Represent the organization on core teams
Collaboratively lead stakeholders in meetings to define processes, identify friction points, gaps, and develop process improving solutions
Analyze data on relevant project metrics and trends, customer surveys and draw inferences as well as identify corrective, preventive and improvement action plans to improve overall customer satisfaction and product quality
Involved in key process improvements at organizational level
Provide feedback to the next generations of hardware based on lessons learned from the field experience

Working knowledge of quality fundamentals such as risk mitigation and closed loop corrective action
Strong project and change management skills
General knowledge and application of hardware engineering concepts
General knowledge of various firmware, software and operating systems environments
Program management skills
Ability to think critically and work independently or as part of a cross-functional team
Understanding of a business environment
Highly proficient in MS Teams, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and other process, analytics or communication tools including Zoom
Ability to translate complex process problems into executive briefings
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven track record of delivering technical solutions
Knowledge of Telco hardware and software engineering concepts
Knowledge of Telco quality KPIs and partner expectations
Knowledge of Telco end to end solutions and offerings
Typically requires 8+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree
