Assessing market trends, quantifying opportunities and developing marketing programs, Field Marketing at Dell Technologies is at the forefront of customer engagement. What you’ll achieve

As the Social Media Platform Expert you will develop the global Go To Market strategy for the main Social Media Platforms (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook), supporting the regional teams to define the best formats and content strategy to reach and resonate with the key audiences per segment. You will be also responsible for effective execution and measurement of success, working cross-functionally with the Global Social Media team, Regional Go To Market Teams, Global Creative and Communications.

You will:

  • Define content strategy focused on platform efficiency & modernization, sharing insights about future trends with local and global teams.

  • Stablish benchmarking / workshops sessions with other market players, agencies and countries teams to share best practices and success cases

  • Define content test & learn projects as well as tracking process and insights communication

  • Support the definition of measurement strategies and reporting structure to evaluate impact of social and platforms strategies including ability to work collaboratively internally with multiple teams to forecast, drive, and monitor performance

  • Partner with the appropriate cross-functional orgs to support Social Media plans, influencing the integration to PR, Partner Programs, and CRM assisting with business growth activities, fiscally, quarterly, and annually

  • Budget Management including partner funding, navigating partner requirements, POE, and ROI

  • Stay current with and assess industry and social media trends, tools, platforms, innovations, and best practices while showcasing the ability/desire to create/find new levers and opportunities to test and learn

Essential Requirements

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills - ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization, and across multiple stakeholder teams

  • 8+ years experience managing social media strategy supporting marketing programs with relationships across consumer electronics however fashion, entertainment, sports, music, culture, lifestyle will be considered

  • Background in eCommerce and Content Strategy

  • Demonstrate solid project management and ability to multitask/run multiple activities concurrently. Effectively handle multiple ad-hoc requests/projects

  • Strong team player and supporter

  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and multiple direction changes

Desirable Requirements

  • Strong business and financial acumen; experience in driving operational excellence

  • Strong organizational and coordination skills in a multi-cultural environment

  • Excellent attention to detail w/ability to think outside the box creatively
