Sr Technology Strategy Consultant

USA Remote

What you’ll achieve

We are seeking an exceptional leader and a forward thinker to work with us on key strategic transformation initiatives. Our team designs, develops, and delivers leading-edge, Services-related technology capabilities use by our customers and Dell employees. These Services technologies span across our core Software as a Service platforms, Dell intellectual property / software products, and data science AI / ML for all lines of business (Consumer, Commercial, Server, Networking, Storage, Cloud, etc.). We work collaboratively within Dell services as well as other external Dell business units, product groups, and IT. In this role you will work on highly complex, transformational problems that are at the forefront in the minds of the executive leadership team. You will gain exposure to senior-level decision-making and establish relationships across all areas of the company.

You Will:

  • Drive modernization and transformation through strategic programs and innovation

  • Manage cross-functional teams to drive a comprehensive set of actions

  • Coordinate with various program management office’s

  • Assess facts and alternatives to inform recommended strategic course of action

  • Develop and present compelling executive and C-level presentations

  • Shape strategic vision for Services based on technical innovation and industry trends

Essential Requirements

  • Typically requires 15+ years of related experience in a professional role with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience working as a Strategy Consultant in a large enterprise environment

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to executive/C-level stakeholders

  • Self-direction and motivation with the ability to operate independently, adapt quickly, and navigate ambiguity

  • Outstanding problem solving, logical structuring, analytical, and story-telling skills

  • Proficiency leading and managing multiple workstreams, project teams and informal teams

  • Ability to effectively work at all levels of the organization to drive results/change; influence without direct authority

  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.)

Desirable Requirements

  • MBA or Masters in Technical Field (e.g., engineering, computer science, etc.)

  • Prior experience at a top management consulting firm
