Dell Technologies Services (DTS), a key area of growth for Dell Technologies, is building a “cloud managed services platform” to deliver services in industrialized, multi-tenant, customer self-service and automated manner for private and multi-cloud.
We are looking for a Lead Architect forCloud Managed Servicesplatform to provide managed services at scale, standardized and highly automated. Leading a team of architects but also working with other architects within the Dell organization. The functional and hierarchical team consists of multi-disciplinary architects, who are responsible for guiding theplatform. Contributing to the overall global architecture of Dell Technologies to facilitate the organizational transformation to as-a-service offerings, simplified IT landscape and SRE operating model.

Y ou W ill:
Setting a clear architectural direction for transforming towards the highly digital, customer focused and very cost efficient as-a-service platform for (managed) services
Defining roadmaps (short,midand long term) by making explicit the key dependencies and drivers for thecloud managed servicesplatformbacked by Proof of Concept
Architecture and design for the utilization of theManaged Cloud servicesplatform componentse.g.ServiceNow (ITSM),OpsRamp(Monitoring,AIOps & ITOM) ,Ansible/AWX, Terraform, Splunk
Support development and build activities and dependencies in the Architecture Review Board
Guiding andIntegrating withIT landscape to support a standardized Dell Technologies ecosystem likeDatalake, Billing, Identitymgmt., Salesforce.com (service cloud)GainSight, API marketplace etc.
Help with customer adoption of Dell Cloud Manage services platform in the container use case
Designplatform feature to support common customer use-case running on dell’s engineered stack
Be a trusted advisor to Portfolio, Engineering and service delivery organization using DevOps & SRE practices
Perform tools feature and cost analysis that best integrates with Dell Cloud Manage services platform architecture
B.S. or M.S. in Engineering, Computer Science, technical degree, or equivalent work experience with 15+ years of experience in Architecting andimplementing highly available and scalable products - with emphasis on products for highly technical users (e.g.software engineers, system engineers, site reliability engineers).
5+ years of experience of building “Cloud Scale” Services for PaaS and/orIaCAutomation for Infrastructure Management with public cloud experience
Prior working experience with Agile software development,DevSecOps,IaCand their Automation toolchains
Solid understanding of Edge Computing and Container baseddeployments(Kubernetes)
Knowledge of the architecture patterns for cloud native applications to be used to define feature needs for the platform
Management & Operations tools experience with a goal of zero touch automation in a multi-tenant manner
Self-Organizing and deeply understands negotiation methods and the stakes and manages opposing viewpoints
Team player, supporting and promoting team accomplishments with a proven ability to drive change through influence and collaboration across a matrix organization in a highly fluid environment.
Implementation experience of zero trust security
Experience working closely with Site Reliability Engineering teams
Prior experience of full stack development is aplus
Exceptional written and verbal communicator – able to translate complex technical constructs/solutions to all level of understanding including C-Suite
