Training Program Manager

Dell Technologies drives human progress through groundbreaking technology and the Program Management Team within Global Offer undergirds every product and service offered. We need everyone to be at the top of their game, so we design, prepare and deliver training and development programs for our suppliers, our partners, our managers and team members to achieve this. We deliver and evaluate a wide range of programs, from new system training and certification required for system access to continuous learning plans for management as well as leadership development. We also shape learning priorities for Dell Technologies and work consultatively with other professionals to share knowledge and implement organizational development programs.

What you’ll achieve

As a Training Program Manager you will be responsible for designing, developing and delivering curriculum tailored training needs across the company as well as developing new training methods & processes, re-evaluating existing processes, and mentoring other team members. You will get to work with job functions from all across the company and all Lines of Business to develop and deliver multi-media training curriculum on the latest technology updates for business partners, suppliers and internal stakeholders.

You will:

  • Develop and implement methods for evaluation of program effectiveness; evaluate the delivery of training and modify program based on feedback

  • Independently determine & develop approach to solutions, under only very general direction

  • May perform classroom training

  • Work closely with Engineering, Marketing, Materials, Operations, etc. to improve course effectiveness

  • Lead curriculum development teams as needed

  • Designs complex training programs within a broad subject area with senior leadership

  • Work with business unit leaders to understand training requirements and design programs to meet specific needs

  • Develop new training methods or processes, re-evaluate existingprocesses

Essential Requirements

  • Strong curriculum design/development skills

  • Strong understanding of one of more curriculum development methodologies (e.g. ADDIE, Agile, Scrum, etc.)

  • Strong training/delivery skills

  • Strong understanding of Adult Learning Theory

Education and Experience

  • Typically requires 6+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 5+ years with a Master’s degree; or equivalent experience of 12+ years
