When you’re working in the fast-moving world of technology, product availability is critical – which makes the availability of raw materials for production critical too. Our Material Planning team provides a controlled flow of materials to meet production requirements. We produce detailed schedules, adapting them if necessary to meet backlogs or material shortages, as well as material requirement lists and production plans that balance the demand and supply position of platforms and commodities to optimize product availability and cost. We’re experts at resolving problems with inventory, production schedules or material shortages and recommending procedures to avoid future problems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily identify LO opportunity thru SFDC, other forecast reports or touch base with Sales, product Brands Manager.

  • Convey the LO demand signal into LO tool for material and capacity sizing.

  • Verify the demand signal with Sales if any doubts.

  • Work together with MS and WWP on material risk assessment and guide sales to download the order with material supportability feedback for smooth fulfillment and maximize revenue recognitions.

  • Timely communicate with sales team on all voices from Supply Chain Planning which need sales team to be attention, particularly on“To Sell To Avoid product” “VALV” and WW constrain parts.

  • Driving regional LO compliance % improvement and bring earlier signal on potential demand to be downloaded to supply chain planning.

  • Assist sales team by providing necessary supply chain information like product LT/inventory status ect. to support sales win the bidding.

  • Manage key top 6 LD pipeline at collaborative planning by co-working with sales and cross-funtional team and maximize the material supportability from supply chain to sales/customers.

  • Manage reporting for SCPL matrix and maintain the global standard process in APJ region.

  • Manage and represent APJ SCRP for global project for process and tool enhancement.

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

  • Above 5-10 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education.

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to apply in evaluating and interpreting problems.

  • Ability to work independently and with minimal direction.

  • Ability to drive alignment by interacting at all level of organization

  • Ablity to well engagement with cross functional stakeholders & executive leaders with soft influencing skills.

  • Thrive under pressure, adaptable to change in a dynamic environment.

  • Able to balance needs of day to day tactical execution with good time management.

  • A good team player.
