Dell Internship, Inside Product Specialist in Bayan Lepas, Malaysia

Internship Client Product Specialist


  • Provides Client Peripherals Upgrade/Replacement expertise and quotation to internal core sales (short term) and customers (long term).

  • Identifies customer needs/ requirements and recommends the appropriate Client Peripherals products and solutions.

  • Effectively articulates the OEM value proposition.

  • Provides pre-sales technical support during the sales process.

  • Deliver Customer Experience of end-to-end sales cycle from requests to fulfilment to invoicing.

  • Work back-to-back with supporting team to support customer’s requests (i.e. delivery lead-time, alternative solution, expectation, onsite support, logistic and finance) end-to-end.

  • May own account sets and/ or be called into accounts as opportunities are identified

  • Remains up-to-date on new product, technology, and services offerings. Stays current on industry and vertical solutions as well.


- Meet the daily sales activities metric, i.e. SLA of email response, quotation generated, funnel built, order processed and Customer Experience metrics.

  • Build the expertise for our product and service offerings, as well as business processes and systems, at a rapid pace.

  • Stays abreast of current industry trends and how customers are being impacted to help solve specific market challenges in targeted requests.

  • Proactively identifies and manages opportunities in CRM to drive and deliver solutions and customer experience

  • Accurately maintains forecast of upcoming opportunities
