Leave and Inspire Data Center Engineers to meet and exceed performance expectations of a 24/7 facility.
Represent IDS (Infrastructure Delivery Services) as the SPOC (Showcase POC) for Technical Support and other Stakeholders located in Penang.
Represent IDS as the SPOC for Deployment Pre-Sales with SDS (Support & Deployment Services) Sales and other Stakeholders located in Penang.
Manages a team of architects with responsibilities within a singular architectural domain such as Service Design, Application Design, Infrastructure Design or Information Design
Provides guidance and direction on architectural issues, hiring staff, setting team goals and conducting performance reviews.
Instrumental in the design and development of architectural standards and guidelines that effect all aspects of IT.
Breadth of architectural expertise is generally contained within a single or few IT disciplines, and influence is contained within IT.
Develops and directs multiple projects, IT services or architectural efforts Supports and drives the vision, goals, and measures of success for the Architecture function Integrates design work across multiple IT teams for either business projects or IT services.
Provides oversight for review for projects, applications and infrastructure.
Contributes to the development and evolution of technology, integration and methodologies.
Provides input on data to support driving operational and financial budgets
Typically 8+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Typically requires 2+ years managerial/leadership experience
Experience with leading teams both locally and remotely
Experience in Enterprise Infrastructure Deployment Engagements
University Bachelor or Masters Degree or equivalent industry experience
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time of the year
Experience in Leading Transformational Business Change
Experience in Early Adoption of Solutions for Customer Delivery
Solid contextual skills and experience in constructing custom service solutions in the IT services market are necessary to manage team members performing this work
Good understanding of services costing and P&L’s in order to assess and coach group team members on services solutions
Strong understanding and ability to construct, tailor and negotiate service contracts (eg. SOW) for both customer engagement and partner provisioning
Requires thorough understanding of services costing and financials in order to assess and coach group team members on services solutions
Technical implementation experience within large environments especially within core technology offerings
Demonstrates extensive creativity and expertise in information systems discipline
