General Job Description Summary:

This individual will play a critical role as the liaison between Partner Marketing and the Client Solutions Marketing and Sales teams for CSB and Commercial segments. In this capacity, they will be the key point of contact for the business and marketing teams as it pertains to our IT partners (Intel, Microsoft, McAfee) opportunities / requirements, marketing funded plans and general business with the objective to deliver against the funding forecast. The individual will also be responsible for delivering bi weekly vendor funding outlook/updates with background for key changes.

Principal responsibilities:

  • Intel and Microsoft relationship management : Manage the relationship with our IT partners Intel, Microsoft and McAfee to ensure strategic alignment with Dell priorities, maximization of funding and definition of joint marketing/sales programmers with positive ROI.

  • Coordination and ownership of VF Planning Process : Lead the quarterly and yearly VF Planning process for the specific segments to ensure all available funding has been allocated and utilized. Serve as the main point of contact for all the teams (Marketing, Reporting Team, Sales, Finance Team and Category Leads) regarding the planning process, the final alignment and achievement of quarterly targets. Deliver a plan that minimizes risk, covers any gaps and achieves quarterly goals

  • CTB: align with the business and the APJ CS Partner marketing operations lead to deliver accurate outlook.

  • Executive Engagement / Communication - Provide regular updates re. financial commitments and programs to BU Executives (Marketing/Sales). Lead QBRs with key partners and Dell business leaders.

  • Influence New Programs : Work with business leaders to develop new partner programs that achieve business and partner objectives.

  • Finance Alignment – Ensure alignment with finance on outlook and end of quarter.

  • Vendor Funding SME – Server as the Subject Matter Expert for all vendor funding related topics. Provide training and guidance to all BU Teams regarding vendor funding processes, rules and best practices to maximize funds utilization and better support our business goals.

Required competences and skills

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, with 10+ years work experience in marketing and/or partner marketing and ideally with good understanding of Dell CS commercial and csb business

  • Strong leadership and ability to influence cross functionally

  • Excellent project and planning management skills

  • Business acumen skills and very comfortable with managing financial data with excel
