Serve as a dynamic change agent and aggressively lead strategic and customer focused business improvement projects using lean and six sigma tools. Lead cross functional teams to deliver sustained improvement to critical product development and customer value delivery processes to help management achieve strategic goals and impact financial results. Challenge conventional thinking, mentor Lean or Six Sigma green belt employees to ensure certification. Must act as cross functional coach, as well as facilitator to gain buy in, resolve conflict and deliver results. Work across functional and organizational boundaries to bring together engineering, global services, sales, marketing and executive leadership to analyze and solve problems that have an impact in the eyes our customers What will your primary responsibilities be?

  • Lead cross functional LSS projects that deliver improvements in the eyes of our customers and deliver cost savings to the organization. This may include the training/mentoring of Green Belts throughout the project(s).

  • Develop, foster, and grow the culture of continuous improvement within the business.

  • Energize, coach and facilitate cross functional teams, while fostering an environment of trust, camaraderie, team work and results. Maintain a relentless focus on removing waste within the business.

  • Develop/update training tools, templates, procedures within the organization

  • Assist leaders and managers with project prioritization and strategic alignment of projects.

Who are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, finance, or operations

  • Master’s degree preferred.

  • Knowledge of various CI improvement systems (LEAN, Six Sigma, TPS…)

  • 1-5 years Lean or Six Sigma experience

  • Black Belt, Lean Sensei, or other Lean/ Six Sigma certification

  • Inner drive and strong desire to tackle the biggest challenges facing our company and deliver timely results to improve

  • Track record of natural curiosity with demonstrated continuous effort to develop and self-growth and others (read books, take classes, greater impact displayed)

  • Courage to act when others hesitate and it matters to our customers (customer advocate)

  • Ability to act as an inclusive leader with humility and an openness to diverse ideas and input

  • Understanding that it is OK to fail as long as we learn from it, an ability to allow others to do the same

  • Ability to lead a team through conflict with confidence and composure

  • Perform in a tactful, professional and flexible manner with diverse personalities
