From developing brand new accounts to driving expansion across existing accounts, our Direct Sales team transforms opportunity into action every day. Whether focusing on a geographical area, product line, industry, channel or market segment, their goal is the same: to develop relationships with the end-users of the organization and generate meaningful sales. They are the direct line between our ground-breaking portfolio of product solutions and the desks of satisfied customers.
Manage a team in order to grow and develop the sale of the company's specialized products and services
Manages a team of individual contributors or managers to ensure opportunities are identified and closed
Sets volume objectives
Assigned a team quota
Assigns resources to qualified opportunities
Customarily and regularly engaged at customer/client facilities and delivers high impact presentations leveraging strong technical skills
Understands and communicates technology roadmaps and vision and associated technical advantages of the proposed solution
Recommends product and service configurations to assist with overall system design and integration Is able to deal with conflicts quickly and efficiently
Directly oversees sales managers and their teams
Understands and implements strategic direction of product specialist team
Drives strategic account management and pipeline development
Leads team’s business acumen and customer knowledge
Develops and trains account executives
Mentors entry level Product Specialist Managers
Manages complex accounts and/or account teams
Senior level Product Specialist Manager
May have country manager or product specific responsibilities
Able to translate strategic objectives into business plan
Assists with development of training and development plans for the organization
Expert understanding of customer/industry climate
High level of solutions and technical knowledge
