From developing brand new accounts to driving expansion across existing accounts, our Direct Sales team transforms opportunity into action every day. Whether focusing on a geographical area, product line, industry, channel or market segment, their goal is the same: to develop relationships with the end-users of the organization and generate meaningful sales. They are the direct line between our ground-breaking portfolio of product solutions and the desks of satisfied customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a team in order to grow and develop the sale of the company's specialized products and services

  • Manages a team of individual contributors or managers to ensure opportunities are identified and closed

  • Sets volume objectives

  • Assigned a team quota

  • Assigns resources to qualified opportunities

  • Customarily and regularly engaged at customer/client facilities and delivers high impact presentations leveraging strong technical skills

  • Understands and communicates technology roadmaps and vision and associated technical advantages of the proposed solution

  • Recommends product and service configurations to assist with overall system design and integration Is able to deal with conflicts quickly and efficiently

Essential Requirements

  • Directly oversees sales managers and their teams

  • Understands and implements strategic direction of product specialist team

  • Drives strategic account management and pipeline development

  • Leads team’s business acumen and customer knowledge

  • Develops and trains account executives

  • Mentors entry level Product Specialist Managers

  • Manages complex accounts and/or account teams

  • Senior level Product Specialist Manager

  • Executes Strategy

  • May have country manager or product specific responsibilities

Desirable Requirements

  • Able to translate strategic objectives into business plan

  • Assists with development of training and development plans for the organization

  • Expert understanding of customer/industry climate

  • High level of solutions and technical knowledge
