About Business Unit:
Dell EMC Managed Services span infrastructure, engineered solutions, and end users.
Infrastructure services: refers to primary storage, backup, and data protection technologies such as DR solutions. With a heritage grounded in industry-leading EMC, our experts are subject matter experts on EMC VMAX, VNX, Unity, SRDF, RecoverPoint, Avamar, Data Domain, and more, including other infrastructure vendors’ technologies.
In Depth Knowledge on Networker, Modules like databases, VM backups, Data Domain, Tape Libraries. Solid knowledge on backup and restore skills.
Skills on Dell EMC Data Domain and Avamar will be added advantage
Also client backup configuration requirements for backup agents. Good knowledge in administration and create reports on the reporting tools like Veritas Ops center, Dell EMC DPA
Backup software integration with most commonly used applications in industry (e.g. Backing up MS Exchange, SQL, Oracle, Lotus Notes, VMWare)
Understanding of Backup and recovery Concepts and troubleshooting
Candidates should demonstrate specific knowledge on Networker, Opscenter, and Dell EMC products
Should have knowledge on ticketing tool like ServiceNow and Remedy
Experience : 5-8 Years
Flexible to work in 24/7 shifts
Provides operational support to customers for implementations and management of Networker and Dell EMC solutions
Works closely with the customer on Dell EMC Best Practices; ensures solutions work as intended in the customer's environment.
Provides proactive recommendations to the customer for improving their use of Dell EMC backup & recovery solutions to help maximize their satisfaction with Dell EMC.
Actively contributes to the configuration, layout and performance tuning of EMC and non-Dell EMC products.
Participates in the design and operational execution of the customer's disaster recovery process as required.
Performs necessary storage infrastructure maintenance and necessary data migration, as required.
Performs complex and/or extended-stay software implementations per the specifications in the Statement of Work, Scope document, Architecture Design Document or Project Manager direction
May be required to support and train both customers and less experienced co-workers. Dell EMC Proven Professional Certification desired.
