Dell is seeking Advisor, Web Production to work in the Dell Commerce Experiences – Content Management Group for the Sales Portal.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Designs, specifies, implements and maintains website solutions for Sales Portal

  • Coordinating new launches, document uploads, material updates, deployment and migration activities

  • Testing new features, releases and packages

  • Troubleshooting technical issues, reacting quickly and decisively, initiating support tickets with relevant parties

  • Developing innovative solutions in new and enhanced ways

  • Determines customer requirements for improving the platform

  • Continuously improving web development and translation processes

  • Manages multiple projects that are simple in scope

  • Ability to perform RCA and improve processes

  • Strong stakeholder management, program management, business analysis, communication and critical thinking skills

  • Generate reports and dashboards for operational and online metrics

  • Knowledge of eCommerce, Dell culture, AEM, site catalyst, Omniture, will be an added advantage

  • Continually evaluate current processes, tools and procedures and find areas of improvement

  • Ability to perform analysis, make critical decisions based on data

  • Fostering partnership with product launch managers, translations team, stakeholders and Business Unit marketing teams

  • Supporting globalization, driving quality compliance and content lifecycle management

  • Actively participating in cross-functional strategic initiatives

  • Coordinate with analytics team to help reporting and analyze performance

  • Knowledge sharing, brainstorming, design thinking and use other tools to encourage and innovate

Candidate requirement:

Moderate level of complex work without daily direction

Leadership is a requirement on projects and within their team

Provides training and mentoring to less experienced team members

Requires extensive working knowledge of operating systems, tools, protocols and products

Requires extensive knowledge of commercial internet/web tools and protocols

Moderate knowledge of website development and support

Strong general business knowledge, advanced project management and interpersonal skills

Advanced level of verbal and written communication skills

Ability to communicate to different levels within the organization. Ability to deal with basic level of ambiguity

Basic project and customer management skills

Ability to lead and assist other team members

Minimal understanding of JavaScript and Flash with working knowledge of video technology platforms (Adobe, Ooyala, Brightcove etc.) and video analytics

Knowledge of HTML, Java and any other scripting language will be an added advantage

Global stakeholder management experience

Good working knowledge of Content Management Systems

Excellent email, conference call and written communication skills in English. Additional languages are a plus

Educational Qualification:

Typically requires 6+ years of related online marketing and project management experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3+ years with a Master’s degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent experience.

Demonstrated analytical horsepower and technical problem-solving skills

Experience in project management and/or software engineering

Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office software skills: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
