Product Connectivity & IoT - Product Manager

Drive the vision, strategy, leadership, and overall success for our products. You are a Product Manager responsible for exciting and transformative products. Through collaboration, you will define reusable feature-sets with a clear roadmap, affecting thousands of users. You are responsible for influencing various partners through mock-ups and presentations using industry trends, standards, and key business drivers where applicable.

Connectivity/IoT provides 24x7 availability of always-on secure connectivity. It is a secure, IP-based, distributed connectivity solution that offers Remote Takeover and Diagnostics, Telemetry and Event Management, Software Distribution, and Remote Scripting & Provisioning. Connectivity/IoT is an asynchronous messaging system in which all communications are initiated from the customer side. With over 60K customers globally, 1 Million devices enrolled and 16PB of telemetry data processed in 2020, we make a difference by managing critical customer infrastructure in near real time and without physical presence in data centers.
Job Role and Responsibilities:
Defines the product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
Gathers, manages, and prioritizes market/customer requirements.
Acts as the customer advocate articulating the user’s and/or buyer’s needs.
Works closely with product development, engineering and support to ensure business case and customer satisfaction goals are met.
Defines what problems to solve along with priorities and justification for each part of the solution.
An understanding of the competition, and how customers use the product.
Acts as the product’s leader within the company.
Working with stakeholders, develops the business case for new products, improvements to existing products, and business ventures.
10+ years of professional experience in engineering and/or product management
Has technical product knowledge or specific domain expertise.
Advanced software engineering and management skills
Leadership skills to manage products growth, development and oversight
Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and partners
Has strong collaboration, presentation, and consulting skills working with product team to develop strategies to meet business goals
Organizationally savvy, with a good understanding of the enterprise's political climate and how to navigate, influence and persuade political waters.
Ability to understand the long-term ("big picture") and short-term perspectives of situations.
Knowledge of best practices for the full software development life cycle.
Use Lean Software Development processes such as Agile, Scrum, and Kanban
Working knowledge of data analytics
- Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or similar.
